Problem/Task: Decrypt an email sent from Ensign
First, the encrypted email needs to be sent. For instructions on that, please see the article here. Now on to understanding the receiving end...
2. Create login credentials
They will then be presented with a registration page for proofpoint. Proofpoint is the encryption system we use. They will need to fill in their full name, set a strong password, and also set a security question (to help them reset their password if they forget it in the future). See below for a screenshot of the registration page and further down for the password requirements
4. Future encrypted emails...
Now when the recipient opens subsequent encrypted emails from you they will still need to click the "click here" link but if they are still logged in to proofpoint the emails will open up automatically. If they try to open an encrypted email once their proofpoint session has timed out (I'm not sure exactly how long that takes) they will need to log in again. The login page will only ask for the password.
